mac vac.

no one has ever been as excited about a vacuum as we are. we recently purchased the Hoover Platinum Lightweight Bagged Upright with Canister. It was rated #1 vacuum in Consumer Reports.

we have been needed a vacuum since we got married, but desperately since we moved here, since we didn't have anyone to borrow from. there were still pines on the floor from our Christmas tree a few days ago. no matter how much we cleaned, it still didn't look totally clean.

thanks to all of our wonderful friends&family we payed $60 for vacuum that would have been $330 with shipping&handling! this vacuum is the mac of vacuums:].

we're must be the cheesiest [best] married couple.

i miss the 1950's.

i miss the 1950's, &i've never even been there.
i miss life without all the billboards, the loud advertisements, commercials, facebook, internet on cell phones, texting, earphones in every ear, trashy, sleezy girls who wear nothing in public, women acting like men, boys acting like girls, wal-mart taking over the world, citizens of the US with no sense of patriotism or hard work, etc.

the other day i ran out of vanilla mid recipe &needed 2 tablespoons of vanilla. i decided i would venture to the neighbor's doors and try to locate some. i went to FOUR neighbors... no one had vanilla!

"girl, not even close."

"if it doesn't come out of a box i don't eat it..."

how sad. i was thoroughly dissapointed with our modern world.

i'm currently in the verizon store, waiting to be seen. okay, maybe i do enjoy some aspects of this technological maze we live in...

coco lovin!

our sweet little camera coco ran away for a while [5 months]. we missed her dearly &searched diligently. she decided to come back to us... come to find out she missed us as much as we missed her [she got sick of hiding behind andrew&kelly's tv stand]. she is beautiful as ever, &we are sO thrilled to have her back in the family. :]]

i decorated our salt&pepp shakers today. i'm tickled by the product, &can't wait for them to join us at our meals!

lovely&lively: TROUSERS.

every woman should own a pair of jeans like this. they lengthen and flatter. these pants are golden because they flatter every body type. they are classy &they'll make your tush look good with a pair with wedge heels. i would pair with a fitted top to balance out the straight leg.

try with:

your favorite top, brightly colored belt,& a lightweight sweater that falls loosely just above the belt.

or wear those same peices, just wrap a thin belt around your waist, &wear it over the unbuttoned sweater.

delicate belt around your hips&a dressier, fitted top [try tucked in!]

or wear to work with a simple, pretty top like this &some of your favorite jewelry to add some love:

endless options...

all classy&flattering.

everyone will wonder where that sassy lady is headed.

lurleen.

remember how we went camping over spring break? well, here are some pictures! we went with our awesome friends andrew&kelly! we explored the area &ended up at the scenic lakeside retreat Lake Lurleen.

we comandeered our way upon lots of free wood, went fishing, paddle boating/floating, exploring [bear grylls style], lots of R&R (see hammock pics), had the MOST delicious dutch over dinner &cobbler, told campfire stories, dan serenaded us with a little koom-bi-ya around the campfire, widdling, jewelry making, and some pinecone/stick baseball. :]

this was our greatest, most loved hobby. we went exploring into the outskirts of the lake.

the sun was being shy. it got a little chillly.

we are too much.

they are the cutest&best. he widdled a canoe and it floated like a master, no big deal.

we're cute little kiddies.

keep burnin, keep keep burnin love. as you can imagine, this entertained me to the UTMOST possible degree.
we were two inches from the ground. we are SO ALABAMA. does anyone else notice but me??

i know my artsy-ness is totally blowing your mind right now.

it was actually QUITE fun, if i do say so.

2KEWT. check out that homemade widdled stick/spiky ball flower/fishing line& weighters necklace. if you want one just LMK, i'll make you one for $45.

as always.
